COXTECH Team – new geek Brad Nagle and accounts Ann Maree McIntosh
Starting last week COXTECH now has a second full-time geek on board in the Albury/Wodonga area. Brad Nagle has vast experience in IT, across government departments, schools and small to medium businesses in Canberra. I would like to welcome Brad to the COXTECH Team and wish him and his family all the best as they settle in to our area.

New Tagline – Connect Me | Fix Me | Teach Me

You might have noticed COXTECH’s new tagline and branding. COXTECH wants to make it easier for you and your colleagues. The key to our service is simple, we want you to understand how we can help you. It’s as easy as Connect Me, Fix Me, Teach me.

Please forward this message onto your business colleagues, business associates and friends as they are only three steps away to technical bliss! We hope you like our new logo, website and car signage on the HMV (humble me vehicle – as it is affectionately known!). We will have a second HMV on board in the next few weeks.

Proactive Monitoring of Servers
This year COXTECH will be proactively monitoring your servers and infrastructure.
This will include:
* checking your servers are up to date with the latest patches and anti-virus protection.
* checking your server backups are working correctly.
We will monitor these things and be in touch. We don’t want you to get any unexpected invoices so we will make you aware of any work required before we start so we have your approval to get it done. We will also communicate any scheduled downtime required to complete this important and essential work!

New Office and Office Hours
COXTECH has outgrown the current office space and is currently looking for a larger and more suitable office. We hope to be in our new office space in the next month or so. We will let you know as soon as we have re-located.

Just in case you were not aware the COXTECH office hours are:
Sunday – CLOSED (work can be requested on this day at the applicable After Hours Geek Rate below)
Monday – 8am to 5pm
Tuesday – 8am to 5pm
Wednesday – 8am to 5pm
Thursday – 8am to 5pm
Friday – 8am to 3pm
Saturday – CLOSED

Web and Application Development
Damian has formed a partnership with a high school friend and employed a number of web and application development resources. COXTECH NOW have four NEW development staff on board and plan to grow this team as demand ramps up.

COXTECH currently offers the following services:
* Website design and development (websites, online shops, booking systems, email marketing and other web application technologies)
* Mobile application development (iPhone/iOS/Android/Blackberry apps)
* Custom development of software from access databases to VB applications etc..
If you can think of something you want to do on the computer, web or phone, then I am sure we can work out how to write some code to make it work. We want to make your business easier and more productive!

Restructure of Fees
We are proud to report that COXTECH prices have not changed since 2003. We do however feel it is time for a change! Below are the new COXTECH Fees starting from 1st March 2012.

Business Hours Geek Rate (remote and onsite support)
$115.00 per hour (minimum charge $115.00)

After Hours Geek Rate (remote and onsite and scheduled after hours support)
$175.00 per hour (minimum charge $175.00)

Web Hosting Plans (prices have NOT increased)

Domain Names (prices have NOT increased)
$30.00 per year for .com, .com.au, .net, .net.au, .org, .org.au domain names. We can source any domain extension you require, please contact us if you have a specific requirement and we will get you a price!

All of the above prices include GST.

Job Sheet Tracking
Starting this month we will be working from a job sheet for all Geek help. This will ensure that each time we visit onsite or perform work remotely we log the work completed including any hardware or other equipment supplied. Ann Maree will use this job sheet data to create your invoices to ensure you have a full record of the work completed.

Finance charges on outstanding accounts
We thank our clients that pay on time. COXTECH operates on 7 day terms from the date of the invoice. Beginning 1st March 2012 all accounts outside our Trading Terms will start to incur interest. Interest will be charged at 12.98% pa. We would like to encourage all clients that have outstanding accounts to get your account in order to avoid these interest charges.
